A mention for our long standing friend and colleague Rob Lipscombe.

He started off playing in the band but later became our recording engineer

who also produces our You Tube videos for the songs.

Also thanks to Cedric at Mobile music Fareham who produces the

final package, CD duplication, design and printing.

Here’s what we’ve been working on since 2009

About Us

In 1965 band members of The Blithe Spirits and The Abdomen joined to form

The Tartan Quarter, with a  line up of Ken Starks, Geoff Baker, Glenn Lee

and Colin Allaway. After a memorable debut gig at the Bure club in Mudeford,

a residency at a Southampton pub and various other bookings, the band

went through further personnel changes with the addition of Chris Godden

and Ken Wheeler, losing Colin Allaway in the process. This was the most successful

line up to date with Ken Starks, lead vocal/rhythm guitar, Geoff Baker, bass guitar,

Glenn Lee drums, Chris Godden, lead guitar/banjo and Ken Wheeler on keyboards.
